The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) has an established accreditation system that sets professional standards for high-quality programs for young children. NAEYC is focused on improving the well-being of young children. They put particular emphasis on the quality of educational and developmental services for children from birth through age eight.

Fayette County Pre-K

A collaborative public school pre k program operated through a partnership with the Fayette County Board of Education. The Pre K program utilizes certified teachers and a West Virginia state-approved curriculum. Our center is accredited by NAEYC. Our instructional program follows and assesses according to WV Early Learning Standards.

We welcome out-of-town guests visiting our community for local outdoor adventures. We also can assist families with backup care for unexpected needs. Call for availability and reservations.

Big Kids School Day Plus Program

Ages 5 to 12 years. Before and after school care including age-appropriate learning opportunities emphasizing STEAM experiences. School-age programming includes homework assistance, nutritious snacks, and meals, peer socialization, outdoor Natural Learning Environment including gardening, nature exploration, and physical fitness opportunities. Transportation is available to and from local schools.

  • Supervised rest and/or nap periods.
  • A reasonable routine for meals, snacks, sleep, and indoor/outdoor play.
